AMC DT16 - Dual curtain technology sensor

DT16 is a dual technology sensor, Microwave and PIR, capable of creating a “curtain” protection barrier useful for doors and windows. It has an adjustable range from 2mt to 3.5m. And it is equipped with a selectable and timed alarm direction recognition system. The lens used in the infrared section can be rotated horizontally so that the sensor can be installed in two different orientations. The sensor is able to detect the direction of movement so as to signal the alarm only when the passage is carried out in a given direction. Activation is activated via DIP in ON. (With DIP4 in OFF the sensor generates alarm in both directions) The selection of the direction of alarm is managed by DIP5. This function is designed for applications where the sensor is positioned on windows & nbsp; and / or doors often open, and there is continuous passage on the unprotected internal side. In this way it is possible to look out or even go out without giving alarm. The pessaggio in the NOT PERMITTED sense generates the immediate signaling of the alarm with the lighting of the external LED. The passage in the PERMITTED sense & nbsp; generates the activation of the inhibition time of 2 minutes with relative signaling by means of a short flash of the LED every 2 seconds. During this time any violation of the sensor will NOT generate an alarm. During the last 10 seconds of the inhibition period, the external LED will begin to flash quickly to indicate that the sensor will soon return to operation and will be able to generate an alarm.
